About Wet Label and the designer behind this emerging label.
Wet Label is a solo venture by Caity Perrin - an independent fashion label devoted to the creation of one-of-a-kind garments crafted from repurposed, recycled, and natural materials.
Drawing inspiration from the unexpected, Caity uncovers beauty in forgotten textiles, second-hand discoveries, and curious craft remnants, allowing chance and intuition to guide each design.
It is the unpredictability of life that fuels Wet label’s existence.
A committed seamstress and designer, Caity approaches every piece with a deep reverence for the art of garment making.
Wet Label embraces the shifting rhythm of life - appreciating slowness, challenging societal expectations, and placing the wellbeing of all living creatures at the forefront.
At its core, the label exists to honour Mother Earth, demonstrating that ethical practice and considered design can coexist within fashion.
Each piece is created with intention, never at the expense of nature or human rights. Ethics are not an addition - it is the foundation.
All garments are made in Terania Creek, Australia - rightfully known as Bundjalung Country.
Custom orders are warmly welcomed.
If there's a particular silhouette or idea you love, send us an email!
Wet Label acknowledges the Arakwal, Minjungbal/Minyangbal, and Wiyabal/Widjabal peoples of the Bundjalung Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands where we create.
We pay deep respect to their Elders, past and present. We recognize Indigenous communities worldwide as the rightful, ongoing protectors of Country.
We are grateful for the wisdom and knowledge they share, which guides us in our own journey of learning and respect.
Always was, Always will be.
